Post Natal explained

Post natal Depression– what is it?
Also called post partum depression. It is a form of clinical depression mainly affecting women after childbirth lasting from months to years.Symptoms include sadness, fatigue, changes in sleeping and eating patterns, loss of libido, crying, anxiety and irritability. This can also be combined with post partum exhaustion, sleep deprivation combined with the bodies hormones changing can exacerbate this condition.

after my third child I developed depression that would come and go for 15 years, after 28 days here it is gone and it is such a relief. I feel so much better about myself because I understand where my depression came from and was taught how to change it , the food was great to thanks to everyone ” Emily Bloomberg 2003

Why can’t traditional methods fix post natal depression?
Traditional therapies focus on the symptoms not the cause. Psychotherapy spends a lot of therapy time searching for individual triggers and the history of these triggers. Psychoanalysis spreads its talk therapy out, often over a number of years and relies often on medication to help manage the symptoms; again not the cause.

Why Palladium Private does work for post natal depression
Clients suffering from depression make up the largest group attending our programs.  Palladium Private’s approach to depression disorders is completely different to traditional methods that are low on results. Our solution has three major components:

  • We only use Fountainhead Method ™, trained life coaches. “The Fountainhead Method™ is the number one system for understanding stress and its application to health in the world today” [1]
  • Journey Therapy supports it. Developed originally by American author Brandon bays similar to time line therapy but different in that the focuses is not only to identify your patterns of behavior and its origin-but to change the pattern then and there. “Where was this when I was studying psychology at University”[2]
  • It is underpinned by Mindfulness training, which has existed for millennia but has only been explained scientifically the last twenty years.  “One has to try to develop one’s inner feelings, which can be done simply by training one’s mind.” [3]

” It was so confusing, I had everything I thought I wanted to be happy but I just wasn’t and I felt bad for feeling bad. sitting around talking about how I felt didn’t fix anything and was exhausting. Now I know why, emotions are a symptom of thinking not the other way around what I have learned was invaluable, now I can put myself first because I know it is the best thing for my family,my husband says thanks for giving him his wife back and I cant agree more” Sally jessup  2006

What the experts say
The Anti Depression Association of Australia (ADAA); recently interviewed author Michelle Mark who confirms this  approach to treatment for  post natal depression: “When you need help with post natal , the real work needed to reduce it for the long term is not done by changing how you feel. This is a temporary solution at best. Changing the root cause of that emotional response does the real work. Those who suffer from post natal depression must look beyond the symptoms, and go back to the cause. The Fountainhead Method™ shows you how to do this”.
